The Asus Eee PC 4G laptop uses between 14 and 15 watts when plugged in. It uses 12 watts when the screen is switched off. Despite being a lower power usage computer, unfortunately the Asus Eee still drains 2 watts with the battery fully charged and the laptop off. Sad
