[Edit: I've updated the following values as the wattmeter I used initially wasn't working properly]

Power usage:
- off (wired remote button): 7.0 watts (that's bad)
- on, very low sound volume: 12.7 watts
- on, normal sound volume: 13.0 watts
- on, very loud sound volume: 30 watts average, with higher peaks

Note: the power supply itself uses 4.4 watts, even when the subwoofer/speakers aren't connected! Not very efficient...

Wow that is really bad- I think anything more than 1 or 2 watts is bad when "off" but that's just silly.
