The Sceptre X24WG-1080P surprisingly only uses 41 watts of electricity at 100% brightness with a contrast of 37%. At 25% brightness and the same contrast level, which is the level I set it at, the Sceptre 24" inch LCD, the power usage was only 25 watts. When it is off it uses less than a watt.
