| The power usage of this TV is a very disappointing 30 watts when it is "OFF". Apparently something is kept on inside, most likely to decrease the time it takes to turn on the TV. When fully on and the lamp is on high level, the 62HM195 used up between 261 and 266 watts. At the low lamp power level, it used 223 to 227 watts. I would recommend using a remote control power switch with this TV to fully shut it off. Or if you don't mind the walk and bending down, you could plug it into its own surge protector and manually switch it. |
