The Jardon TowelSpa starts chugging in between 408 and 425 watts of electricity once you plug it in. When the target temperature is reached inside within about 5 minutes, the power draw drops to between 195-204 watts. The odd thing is that the thing doesn't seem to have a timer that completey shuts off the device. In fact the manual says that you must manually unplug the Towel Spa after each use to turn it off. Not very good engineering if you asked me.
